Dear Members,

You may have noticed that we’ve had an unusually high number of route cancellations this week, and unfortunately, we anticipate more in the coming weeks. These cancellations are due to an unexpected temporary reduction in our delivery workforce.

Please rest assured that we are doing everything possible to maintain service to all libraries. To manage this as effectively and fairly as possible, we are rotating routes to cancel rather than cancel the same route each day. These adjustments will continue over the next few weeks until we can return to full staffing.

We understand the importance of timely delivery and are committed to minimizing the impact of these changes. Our team is working diligently to continue providing delivery to all member libraries.

Below is the current schedule of planned route cancellations for the next two weeks. To streamline communication, we will no longer send daily text updates about route cancellations for the dates listed below. Instead, we will now send this single email listing all affected routes.

Upcoming Route Cancellations:

• Tuesday, September 9 – Route 1
• Friday, September 12 – Route 5
• Tuesday, September 16 – Route 6
• Thursday, September 18 – Route 3 

We will provide timely updates if there are any changes to this schedule.
